10 YEARS Singer Not Ready To Go All-Digital
April 28, 2006Launch Radio Networks has issued the following report: 10 YEARS recently made an EP of four acoustic tracks available exclusively through the iTunes online music store. While he likes the idea of selling music digitally, 10 YEARS singer Jesse Hasek told Launch that he doesn't see it replacing CDs. "I mean, that could very possibly happen, but me personally, I guess you could call me old-fashioned," he said. "I'm still into buying records and having something tangible in my hand, and flipping through the booklet and looking at the artwork and the lyrics. But I think it's a really convenient tool for everyone to tap into if it's done right."
The digital EP includes unplugged versions of the band's first rock radio hit, "Wasteland", as well as its current single, "Through The Iris".
10 YEARS continues to support its 2005 debut release, "The Autumn Effect". The group recently completed its first arena tour as the opening act for KORN and MUDVAYNE and will begin a new round of headlining gigs next month.
